The school’s structure is projected using precast concrete columns, beams and frameworks. The project is developed by Artepref company. 3D3 Ingeniería does the foundations project and all structures that are not precast.
The plot of land, with non-bearing capacity, drives to a deep foundation using precast piles with square sections of 275-350 mm. Due to the low bearing capacity of the soil, the basement level is projected using a concrete cast in place slab, that is used to bear loads and to brace the piles. Retaining walls are done using precast concrete slabs where possible. In the rest of the cases, they are done using cast in place concrete walls.
The swimming pool area is supported by ten joints, with beams that work as transversal ribs. Over them, the concrete slab of the swimming pool is supported.
The auditorium´s stepped seating is projected using steel structures to adapt to the architectural requirements. The ground floor slab is supported by tilted tubular steel columns. At the perimeter of the slab, steel columns are used to support the roof trusses and the precast facade of the building.
