The new Social Security System building in Vitoria consists of a building with two levels below ground and five levels above ground.
The total constructed area is 16.400 m2, projected with precast concrete slabs for horizontal solutions and cast in place walls and columns for vertical solutions.
The main entrance of the building is designed with an area with suspended frameworks for a roof, to create an inner open courtyard.
Tasks realized are essentially three:
– Project checking. Recalculating the entire building’s structure to reduce costs and reach completion deadlines
Calculation of the new retaining walls and foundations, and a solutions report to analyze and avoid karsts under the building.
Technical assistance to the work and assessment of the retaining walls of the dump area, changes in the types of walls etc.
