Main works are the following:
Demolition of a reinforced concrete slab.
Reinforcement of the existing structure.
Room restoration for the new installation.
All demolition works are done while the substation is in operation and with a fixed deadline because of the arrival of the equipment. Supervision takes place daily, modifying and adapting the project to the works’ requirements, using new drawings and drafts. The works program is also thoroughly controlled by detailing up to 26 different tasks.
Works are done during summer and autumn 2011, complying with the previously set delivery deadlines.
